Assessment of Students’ Basic Competence

Risk management education aims at training a graduate to become a talented person specializing in risk assessment and management in the way that a student makes practice-based learning, self-learning and sustained efforts. The college students who graduated from China Medical University are expected to have the core competences as follows:

Assessment of Professional Competence

  1. Familiarize themselves with theories and skills for risk assessment.
  2. Capacitate themselves for monitoring and analyzing pollutants dispersed in environment.
  3. Own knowledge and techniques for risk communication.
  4. Possess the ability of intermediate-level English in reading and writing.
  5. Familiarize themselves with searches and applications of databases.
  6. Cultivate teamwork and modest/down-to-earth attitude.
